System Update: Planned Upgrade in Progress

Latest Updates:

  • August 21 Website Performance: The National Registry website is still experiencing performance issues. Users may encounter errors when clicking on an application or attempting other actions. Our team has added additional resources and is actively working to resolve the issues. We anticipate a resolution today.
  • August 21 - Examination Results: Between July 14 and August 14, nearly 22,000 examinations were delivered, with 99.5% successfully posted. A small number of examinations remain pending due to missing information or incomplete records, and these are being addressed to ensure all results are accurately recorded.

Previous Project Updates

  • August 20 - Candidate Application Issues: The technical issue preventing some candidates from creating applications has been resolved. Ongoing quality assurance testing continues to ensure system stability.
  • August 19 Migrated Applications: Today’s priority is resolving issues with applicants who were approved under the old system but are showing as incomplete in the new one. This data mismatch between our CRM and applicant web accounts is blocking otherwise eligible candidates from testing. Our team is actively working on a fix.
  • August 13 Migrated Applications:We are working to resolve issues preventing some previously approved applicants from testing due to missing skills sign-offs or mismatched data.
  • August 12 Multiple PD Issues: Fixed problems where some states were missing applications in the Manage Candidates section, and where candidates were incorrectly marked as verified.
  • August 12 - Classes Approved Without Program Director Signoff: Verified that no certifications were given out without the required course completion approval. All affected candidates had completed the course during an earlier attempt. No further action is needed.

Posting for these results is expected to begin on Friday, August 15, and continue through next week.

  • July 23 - Examination Results Processing: The issue has been narrowed to fewer than 100 examination results not yet in Candidate account.
    • Reprocessing expected to be completed by end of day. July 23.

This prevents applicants from receiving their Authorization to Test (ATT). Funds can’t always be transferred to new applications. We are working to stabilize the payment process and ensure refunds and transfers function correctly.
  • August 13 - Payments: We are actively fixing payment issues, including transactions not showing as paid, processing errors, disappearing payments, and limited refund or transfer capabilities.
  • August 12 - Payment Resolutions: Working to resolve payments that were applied to legacy applications but should have been applied to the new CAR applications. This process is currently underway.

We understand the urgency and appreciate your patience. If you've already reached out, your case is in progress. Multiple follow-ups, especially via both phone and email, can create duplicate cases and slow resolution. We’re working through all requests as quickly as possible and will get back to you soon.
No need to do both. Whether you choose to call or email, we will ensure your concern is received and addressed. Using just one method helps us reduce response time for everyone.
This is a known issue, and we have made it a top priority. Our team is actively working to resolve it as quickly as possible, and we hope to have it fixed soon.
Once the issue is corrected, we will post on social media and our website. Thank you for your patience.
We get it. Waiting is hard, especially for those in a business where everything happens so quickly. Sometimes, examination results are available fast. Other times, it may take up to 3 business days (does not include Saturday and Sunday). That has always been our standard, and we follow it to make sure every score is accurate and fair.
Even if your colleague or friend received their results faster, don’t worry. Yours are on the way. Thanks for your patience!
In many cases, the issue is that payment hasn’t been completed. Before trying to schedule, please double-check that your examination has been paid for and/or that the payment has been processed.
If you’ve already paid and still can’t schedule, contact us so that we can look into it.
If you are trying to schedule an examination, make a payment, or check your results and get this screen, you are not alone. We are actively working on multiple system updates and fixes, and it is possible that a deployment is happening at the exact time you are trying to access the page.
Please be patient and try again in a few minutes or, preferably, at a different time of day. If the message continues to appear after multiple attempts, contact us. We appreciate your understanding.
No. The recent system updates have not affected the development, administration, or scoring of your examination. Your results are generated and validated through a secure, reliable process that ensures accuracy.
Some related functions, such as verification and processing, may have experienced delays. However, your examination itself, from development through scoring, is not impacted.
Thank you for your patience as we continue strengthening our systems to better serve you.
