The National Registry of EMTs Invites Your Feedback

(Columbus, Ohio) – The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians recently approved a resolution for public comment. 24-Resolution-01 Resolution on Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certification Re-Entry Requirements is now available for a 60-day public comment period.  

Summary of 24-Resolution-01: As part of discontinuing the ALS Psychomotor Examination, the National Registry must update its State-Licensed Entry and Re-Entry processes for the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) and Paramedic Certifications to remove the requirement for the ALS Psychomotor Examination.
