Attention EMRs!  We need your help. 

The National Registry of EMTs is seeking 8 Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) to help establish the passing standard (cut score) for the next iteration of the EMR examination.

Workshop Overview:

  • Purpose: Determine the recommended passing score for the EMR exam.
  • Dates: October 17-18, 2024
  • Location: National Registry headquarters, Columbus, OH
  • Format: This 2-day workshop will involve training on the methodology, independent review and rating of exam questions, and collaborative group discussions. Participants will assess the difficulty of questions based on defined domains and objectives, directly shaping the final passing score for the exam.

 Expectations:

  • We are seeking a diverse panel of 8 volunteers—including EMR practitioners, educators, and supervisors—from various states. Please note that submitting your information does not guarantee selection, as we must ensure diverse input across criteria such as geographic locations, community size, and experience level.
  • Participants must be committed to attending the entire workshop.
  • All expenses, including travel, accommodation, and meals, will be covered by the National Registry.
